About

WORLDWIDE STREETS is a non-profit international platform and exhibition series dedicated to street and documentary photography. Originally launched in Shibuya, Tokyo by Peter Kalnbach, Sébastien Jean and Adam Benedicto, the project began as a local exhibition and quickly evolved into a global initiative celebrating the diversity, depth, and authenticity of street photography.

Each edition brings together emerging and established photographers, showcasing a wide range of approaches—from raw street moments to more conceptual and fine art narratives. The selected works span formats including 35mm film, digital photography, and experimental processes, with a strong emphasis on carefully produced, gallery-quality prints.

Beyond the exhibition itself, WORLDWIDE STREETS fosters an active international community through workshops, photo walks, artist talks, publications, and collaborative events. With exhibitions held in cities such as Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, and Tokyo, the project continues to grow as a platform for photography, dialogue, and global visual storytelling.
